Arlene is a free lance marketing consultant. She decided to take the plunge and set up her own business in May of this year having always wanted to go self employed and try her hand at becoming a free lance marketeer. Prior to this she worked for big name companies including Glanbia, Bord na Mona and Hewlett Packard where she held a variety of different marketing roles at both country,regional and global level. She has a passion for digital marketing and likes to keep up to date with the latest trends in this area by attending short courses on the topic. She has a particular flair for social media campaigns and loves the opportunities the different platforms can provide. In 2013 Arlene received a Distinction in her Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing which she completed in the Digital Marketing Institute Dublin. In 2005 Arlene successfully completed the Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Marketing at Dublin City University Business School. This one year full time postgraduate programme covered a range of Marketing subjects. During the course of the programme Arlene worked as a tutor on our undergraduate “Introduction to Marketing” module and proved most competent in this role.  Prior to her Masters Arlene completed a Bachelor of Business Studies in the University of Limerick. Arlene received Second Class Honours in both her BBS and her Masters Degrees. Most recently Arlene has competed short courses in Search Engine Optimisation and How to build your Digital Marketing Strategy using Social Media. Arlene is married to Paul and has  two young daughters named Amber and Lauren. During her spare time she likes to practice yoga, go for walks and listen to music.
